I have been having stabbing chest pains in the center of my chest that come and go, but anytime I try to start jogging I always feel it within a minute or so. I also have that same stabbing pain that I can feel to the side of my spine that comes and goes. I have recently just been diagnosed with Raynauld’s, but there were no tests done to confirm the diagnosis. It was just a physical diagnosis because of my freezing cold hands and feet. I have also noticed these little reddish brown spots at the base of my fingernail. The ER doctor said they could possibly be busted blood vessells. I have had an EKG before, and CBC but I have no insurance. Is there something that the ER doctor could be missing. I also get random chills. All of this was explained to ER doctor, but It seemed as if it was brushed off after the EKG. IS there something that they could be missing? I am a 32 year old male, smoker, and have been experiencing nervousness as well it seems. I’ve never had nervous issues before, but I am positive that this is not in my head. Any ideas, or any advice you can give me. I’m just trying to get on with my life.
Without an examination and some tests I cannot diagnose what is causing your chest pains.
If Raynaud’s is part of your problems, the worst thing you can do to yourself is to continue smoking. You can read more about chest pains here:
