Question:
I am 43 yrs old, I just quit smoking March 21.  I am having shortness of breath, heaviness in my chest, swollen legs and feet upon rising in the am, and tingling in my left hand.  would this be heart related or could it be coming from my lungs or something else?

Your symptoms are suggestive of angina, coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure and you need to see your doctor!
You can read more here:

https://www.cardiachealth.org/heart-information/heart-failure
A consultation probably would include a number of tests (Chest Xray, EKG, cardiac ECHO & blood work).
Hope this helps,
