Hello everyone, chef Piet here! I am very excited to make this my first official post. I have just returned from a wonderful trip to the San Francisco Bay Area, where I spent the week visiting several community food projects, urban farms and attended a seminar on Biodynamic farming. I also had the opportunity to participate in a cooking workshop.
Today’s recipe is the result of one of the dishes we made during this class, Pan Seared Pork Chops with sautéed Chard, Polenta and a Roasted Red Pepper Sauce. I modified some of the ingredients to make it more heart healthy. This dish is absolutely delicious, easy to make and I know you will enjoy it!
Serves 2-4 depending on how big you like your portions. Enjoy with a nice glass of Pinot Noir or Zinfandel. Let me know if you have any questions,
