Question:
Dear Sir,I am  a Male 54 years old and my Lipid Profile indicates Triglyceride as 410 mg/dl. My Blood Pressure is 180 / 100 and today I got my ECG  done which indicates ” QRS[T] CONTOUR ABNORMALITY CONSISTENT WITH INFERIOR INFARCT  PROBABLY OLD “Of late I have been experiencing frequent uneasiness and mild pain along my left shoulder down to the elbow, restlessness, lack of sleep [ probably 4 hours in a 24 hour cycle ] etc. Could you please tell me what the above indicates ?

Hi Ravi,
Just what the tests said. Your Cholesterol is very high, likely causing atherosclerosis, you have hypertension, your symptoms could be angina caused by coronary artery disease, and you probably had a heart attack in the past: you are at a serious risk for another one!
I suspect you don’t live a very healthy lifestyle and you should look into what changes you can make to improve upon that.
Hope this helps,
Dr T
