Recovery From Heart Failure

If ef was 25% and after 2 yrs it is 50%, should carvedilol be reduced? Carvedilol is 12.5mg 2x with Losartan at 25mg. I exercised during those two years for 30 min four times  per week.  Started with water aerobics and then treadmill.  Added yoga recently.

Great news that heart function has returned to (almost) normal. The only way to find out whether you can do without is to stop your meds and see what happens. I would not recommend that, unless there side effects or there is evidence that the cause of your heart failure has been eliminatedHope this helps,

Dr T
