Angina occurs sometimes very predictably and sometimes not. It sounds like you are under good control at the time, but since you have known CAD, you need to have regular follow-up with your doctors, and especially focus on a heart-healthy life style:

Hi Marie,
No need to be concerned. Your cholesterol levels, in patircular your HDL, are great. If you like to know your risk for heart disease, read this link and take this test.

TAVI is a procedure developed for patients with severe aortic valve disease who are not a candidate for "normal" aortic valve repair/replacement. As such, while a good option for those very high risk patients, it is NOT for most others.

These findings suggest diminished heart function that may lead to heart failure. Treatment depends on the cause.

The most common heart failure cause is coronary artery disease and previous myocardial infarctions. Other than that, I cannot be more specific, although I agree your husband has lived a very healthy lifestyle.

Hi Shaun,
I do know about it, including the statement from a cardiologist afterwards that nothing abnormal was found. Until then I thought he had suffered a lethal arrhythmia and a Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) episode, but that would have been excluded by the testing that must have been done.
